There's still time to register a team in Rotary Club of Dawson County's 24th annual golf tournament and fundraiser.
Early entries for the April 25 Ft. Lauderdale scramble at Crystal Falls Golf Club will be accepted through April 15. Entry fees are $125 for individuals or $500 for a four-player team.
The fees include golf cart and green fees, boxed Chick-fil-A lunch, goodie bag, door prizes and a catered dinner from Longhorns. Mulligans will be available to purchase for $25 each. There will be a putting contest, longest drive competition and closest to the pin challenge.
Corporate and hole sponsorships are also available.
New this year is also the opportunity to prominently showcase a business or organization by sponsoring a hospitality tent on the course.
"We see them as having a Party on the Green," said President Brooke Anderson. "We'll have the hospitality tents strategically placed throughout the course to offer golfers drinks, snacks, giveaways and the opportunity to take home some great swag and prizes."
Nearly 100 percent of funds collected from the annual tournament stay in Dawson County to support local initiatives.
"Over the years, the Rotary Club of Dawson County has supported numerous charitable organizations, civic clubs, and community projects," Anderson said. "From supporting the senior center, Wee Books, the library, Rotary Island and many other projects, Rotary has been there ready to serve."
Last year's event raised more than $50,000 that was redistributed back into the Dawson County community through various civic initiatives.
"We cannot do these projects without the generous support of businesses and the community," he said. "It is a great way to the put the fun into fundraisers. Come out and support your community through Rotary."
Registration begins at 10 a.m. followed by a noon shotgun start. Prizes will be awarded for first and second gross and first and second net.
