Hwy. 136 west of Bailey Waters Road has reopened following a single vehicle crash Friday afternoon.

The driver reportedly left the roadway and went down a small embankment just after 4 p.m. The road reopened about 45 minutes later.

Director of Dawson County Emergency Services Chief Lanier Swafford said the woman was able to get out of the car on her own and refused medical assistance.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area while crews worked the scene.
