A benefit is planned for a local family that lost everything in a fire last month. "We're just going to try to help them out as much as we can," said longtime family friend Jeanne Long. The barbecue fundraiser for the family of Euell Mooney begins at 11 a.m. Saturday and will be held at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame's Gordon Pirkle Room.
