If you’re looking for something fun to do with your dogs, the Dawson County Humane Society will be hosting its annual Pups in the Park Festival and Dog Show at Rock Creek Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The event is a day devoted to dogs and their families and will offer fun for all ages.

Families can bring their dogs to compete in contests including: best costume, cutest and ugliest in large, medium and small categories and best trick.

There will be special demonstrations from dogs trained for search and rescue missions. Food, pet item vendors, arts and crafts, open market items and entertainment will also be included at the festival.

Pups in the Park is a collaborative effort by the Dawson County Lions Club, Rotary Club of Dawson County, Dawson County Juniorettes, Dawson County Interact Club, Junior 4-H members and the Dawson County Humane Society.

Rock Creek Park is at 445 Martin Road in Dawsonville.
