The new Publix grocery store on Ga. 400 in the Dawson Crossroads shopping center will open its doors to the public for the first time next week. The store is slated to host a ribbon cutting at 6:45 a.m., followed by the doors opening for business at 7 a.m. Oct. 13. The Publix is a 45,000 square foot store with the traditional grocery, dairy and frozen food departments.
