Presidential candidate John Davis, a republican from Colorado, announced he will be in Dawsonville on Saturday to talk with residents “about fixing America.”

He will have a short press conference at the Dawson County Courthouse at 9:55 a.m.

Davis began his Votercade across America grass roots campaign for the President of the United States in mid-January.

His goal is to visit with voters in hundreds of counties across the nation.

“This is not the economy that America wants,” Davis said in a news release. “We have just started talking with people and they all believe we need to fix the economy. People are saying we need to do something different.”

Davis said the nation needs to balance the budget, eliminate debt and put people back to work, according to the release.
