Dawson County Emergency Services Chief Lanier Swafford said road conditions are improving but many remain "treacherous."

DOT crews have been out and progress is being made, but all roads still have some snow and ice accumulations.

Swafford encourages everyone to stay home if at all possible.

Emergency personnel worked throughout the night and responded to numerous wrecks.

"There were no serious injuries. We did have some minor injuries, a few that we treated and some that we transported," Swafford said.
