Officials with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources have confirmed that a 55-year-old male drowned Tuesday afternoon at War Hill Park in Dawson County.

DNR Spokesman Mark McKinnon said that the man, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
