Teams are still forming for the 12th annual Dogleg Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the Dawson County Humane Society.

The four-man scramble begins with a shotgun start at noon April 7 at Crystal Falls Golf Club in western Dawson County.

A special "Putting for Puppies" challenge begins at 10 a.m., followed by lunch before heading out to the course.

"Historically, our tournaments rate at the top of the most fun," said organizer Terri Tragressor. "And it's for such a great cause that everyone enjoys the whole day."

An awards dinner and silent auction will follow the tournament. Prizes will be awarded to each golfer in the top two net teams and top two gross teams.

Cost is $110 for individual golfers, which includes greens fee, cart, lunch, goodie bag and awards dinner. Registration deadline is April 4.
