Golden artists sparkle at Bowen Center

Modern to classical art as well as photography, ceramics, jewelry and chain saw sculptures will adorn the walls and floors at Bowen Center for the Arts as part of its Chestatee Artists' Nuggets of Art - Pure Gold exhibit.

The exhibit will kick off with a reception from 5-7 p.m. June 5 at 334 Ga. 9 North. The art show will last until July 25 at the Bowen Center for the Arts in Dawsonville.

The exhibit will feature more than 70 pieces of art from more than 30 artists. Most of the work will be for sale.

The Chestatee artists include: Gainesville resident Margy Dennis; Cleveland resident AJ Wolff; Dawsonville resident Stacey Ducker; and Dahlonega residents Ann McCormack, Anna Elrod, Bart Parto, Brad Fox, Cathy Ritch, Carl Pirone, Carol Kennedy, Charlotte Smith, Denise Roberson, Diane Gould, Dorothy Abercrombie, Elsie Porter, Florence Roberts, Ginny Greenwood, J.J.
