Four juveniles were injured last week in a jet ski wreck on Lake Lanier near Nix Bridge Road in Dawsonville.

Lanier Swafford, director of emergency services, said that personnel responded to a call at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 31 that two personal watercraft had collided in the area of Chestatee Circle.
Swafford said that two were transported by air to Atlanta Medical Center in serious condition and two were transported by ambulance to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in stable condition.

Mark McKinnon, public affairs officer with Georgia Department of Natural Resources, said that the DNR is investigating the wreck, and that the investigation could take several weeks.

McKinnon said the names of the riders have not been released because they are all juveniles.
