Residents living in the city of Dawsonville have until Tuesday to register if they plan to vote in the Nov. 8 municipal election.

Registration is available at the Dawson County Elections and Voter Registration Office, located at the intersection of Academy Avenue and Maple Street in downtown Dawsonville.

Early voting for the election, which includes two seats on the city council and mayor, begins Oct. 17 and runs through Nov. 4 from 8 a.m.-5p.m. at the election's office.

The precinct will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on Election Day.
