When voting in-person, poll workers will follow local and state health guidelines to limit the threat of COVID-19 and voters will be asked to maintain a safe distance during the process.

Those who have received an absentee ballot, but wish instead to vote in person can bring their ballot to the polling place, have it canceled and vote in person, according to a county press release.

A photo ID is needed to vote.

All staff and poll workers will wear face shields and voters are encouraged to wear their own face mask when voting in person. Gloves and hand sanitizer will be available at the polling place, the release said.

Styluses have been issued for the voting units and units will be sanitized after each use, the release states.

“We plan to only allow a minimum in the foyer and voting room and seven of those are poll workers, so people will potentially have a longer wait than normal,” the release states.
