The Governor has started a Wear The Mask tour to encourage everyone to wear a mask when in public. Savannah has passed a law requiring a mask in public. Perhaps it is time to really get serious about wearing a mask.

If I am preaching to the choir, give me an Amen. If you are not part of the choir, perhaps it is time you joined. No audition needed.

For some, the hardest leadership lesson is when we had to learn to lead by example. If you wear a mask when you leave home then your children will see that and hopefully do the same.  If you wear your mask at work then maybe your co-workers will do the same. If you wear your mask when going to the store, then perhaps others will go back to their car and put their mask on.

If you are not wearing a mask how can you expect others to wear a mask? Set the example.  Wear the mask. Act like it is an everyday occurrence, part of your routine. Before you leave the house do your checklist:  Keys, wallet/purse, glasses, cell phone, mask.

Where is American Express when you need them: Don’t leave home without it.

Next week we will talk about the Lone Ranger.  Thanks for reading.
