Governor Kemp has allowed certain businesses to open last Friday and more this Monday. Do not take this as an all-clear announcement.
Dawson County is still experiencing new cases of coronavirus almost every day. We still have a number of our residents being sick at home with the virus. We can still get the virus as it is alive and well in this county.
Continue doing what you have been doing. Stay at home. Do not go where other people are. Wear a face mask when in public. Don’t make exceptions for not doing the right thing. Support those businesses that have take out, drive-through and home delivery.
The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter, but let’s not go back into the tunnel.
