Sawnee Electric Membership Corporation is accepting applications from high school seniors for the Sawnee Foundation Youth Scholarship program through 5 p.m. Jan. 25.
The program is open to children of Sawnee EMC members.

In the past, the scholarships have been $4,000 per student. This is a one-time, on renewable scholarship.
In addition, juniors and seniors can apply for the Washington Youth Tour through Feb. 12.
Applicants must be 16 years old by June 1 and be able to commit to the tour June 13-20, 2019.
Two deserving students will participate in a week-long trip to Washington, D.C. While there, they will get the chance to see the U. S. Capitol, as well as other major monuments and museums in the area.
