Two first-year teachers within the Dawson County School System have resigned after allegations of inappropriate conduct.
“Allegations were made that two teachers exchanged inappropriate communications via a social media outlet not approved by the school system,” said Lisa Perry, chief human resources officer with Dawson County Schools, in an email.
Perry said referrals are being made to the Professional Standards Commission.
“Given the privacy rights of the students, the nature of personnel matters and the ongoing investigation by state authorities, I cannot provide any additional information,” said Perry.
