All Dawson County Schools parents are invited to attend a family night hosted by the school system to provide information about local support agencies and resources for families with school-aged children.

The event will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Dawson County High School.

In addition to free dinner, free childcare and door prizes, parents will hear from and have an opportunity to interact with community organizations, local support agencies, area colleges and technical schools, as well as a representative from the GBI who will speak about drug issues in the county.

There will also be sessions for parents, a youth musical performance and a student art show.
