The congregation at Mountain Lake Church-Dawson invites the community to join them in a day of service. "We see our church as a church for the community," said Pastor Brian Haas, who is leading the charge to serve the community through various service project efforts Saturday morning. Volunteers are needed at RIC Rack's thrift store, the humane society, Family Promise's day center and a clean-up at the Dawsonville City Park.
