Chick-fil-A of Dawsonville has partnered with Associated Credit Union to house their temporary mobile location at the ACU Dawsonville Branch while they undergo renovations for six weeks.
Since their July 2017 establishment in Dawson County, Associated Credit Union has built a strong working relationship with many community partners, such as Chick-fil-A. Having participated in many events together over the last several months, the two businesses were eager to continue their partnership when the idea for the mobile location arose.
"When we first had the idea of a mobile location, we considered several locations. ACU has been so accommodating and a pleasure to work with,” said Tony Kellar, Chick-fil-A Dawsonville owner. “We could not have chosen a better partner. Dawson County is lucky to have them in our community.”
A spokesperson for Associated Credit Union said the company has always admired the strong value system that Chick-fil-A follows within their organization, and that ACU believes in the credit union standard of “people helping people,” and they have seen this standard not only in Chick-fil-A, but in Dawson County organizations as a whole.
“I consider the people of Dawsonville to all be part of the Associated Credit Union family,” said Connie Smith, ACU Dawsonville branch manager. “We take pride in the closeness of the community, and love to help in any way that we can with our local businesses and neighbors.”
Chick-Fil-A’s mobile location is open from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays and from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturdays, weather permitting. They remain closed on Sundays.
ACU Dawsonville is open for business from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with a 24 hour ATM available. The credit union is located at 4300 Dawson Forest Road East.
