Santa Claus is making an early stop in Dawsonville on Saturday morning to add a few more names to his nice list this Christmas.

The Jolly Old Elf plans to arrive at Rock Creek Park by 8 a.m. for his annual holiday breakfast.

Photos with Santa, a make-your-own ornament station and live Christmas trees will also be available.

Now in its fourth year, organizer Buffie Hamil said the event continues to grow each year.

"This event makes it possible for children to share their Christmas wish lists with Santa and fill their tummies, at an affordable cost to the parents," she said.

Admission is free. Breakfast and photo packages start at $5. The initial sheet of photos will be ready to take home the day of the event.

Additional photo packages are available for purchase and will be mailed within 10 days.

Organizers suggest getting to the park by 7:45 a.m. to see Santa's special arrival.

Last year, Santa showed up in a horse drawn carriage.

Appointments are not necessary.

"Just show up and enjoy the magic that only Santa can provide," Hamil said.
