On behalf of the Associated Credit Union Foundation, Mark Waller, executive vice president and chief operating officer, donated $5,000 to the Good Shepherd Clinic of Dawson County in November 2018. The donation is one of the largest received by the charitable group since opening the clinic in 2009. ACU’s Dawsonville Branch Manager, Connie Smith, participated in the occasion.

“I have been so privileged to work with the Good Shepherd Clinic,” Smith said. “Every experience has been positive, and I truly believe in the work they are doing for the residents of Dawson County.”

The Good Shepherd Clinic is a 501(c)(3) organization located behind Burger King off Hwy. 53. Their mission is to provide health care services for those in Dawson County who would not typically have access.

“We are grateful for the donation from Associated Credit Union,” said Kay Parrish, executive director of the Good Shepherd Clinic. “Donations like these are what help us continue growing our outreach and helping the residents of Dawson County who are in need.”
