4-H to host $10 drive-up rabies clinic

Dawson County 4-H is hosting its annual rabies clinic on Saturday, April 21 at three convenient locations throughout the county.

Shots are for cats or dogs only and cost $10 each. Other yearly vaccinations will also be available.

Pets will stay inside the vehicle while the veterinarians come to your car to give the vaccinations.

Route One will be administered by Dr. Ed Holton. Shots will be given from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Burt’s Pumpkin Farm and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dawson County courthouse.

Route Two will be administered by Doctors Will and Emily Baldwin. Shots will be given from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kilough Elementary School.

The rabies clinic is a joint effort between Dawson County 4-H Club, Dawsonville Veterinary Hospital and All Animals Veterinary Hospital.
