Like many other hospitality workers, chef Chris "Mac" McKewen lost his job three years ago when restaurants closed at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.And while that situation may have otherwise been a daunting obstacle, it eventually led him to a surprising culinary opportunity right here in Dawsonville.
