Coming off his best in class win a week earlier, Dawson County freshman Kelton LeBaron was one of three Tigers to qualify for the state wrestling championships in the GHSA Class 3A-A Sectionals on Saturday in Madison. LeBaron, who was third in the 113 lbs. weigh class, has a 31-12 record. Another freshman Wyatt Smith (third in 106, 42-2 record) and junior Jeremy Whalen (sixth in 160, 35-8 record) also advanced to the state competition to be held Thursday-Saturday at Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth.
