The junior varsity Tigers finished their football season on a convincing win over the Flowery Branch Falcons at home last week.

The Tigers won 43-6 on Oct. 13.

"Great game to end the year on with this bunch of Tigers," said Coach John Kenny. "They had a great season with a 5-1 record. We are just proud of the effort and look forward to seeing them play on Fridays next year."

Running back Robbie Rarick had four rushing touchdowns for the Tigers on the way to a 35-0 score by half.

The opening possession by the Falcons was a three and out and Dawson went to work immediately behind the running of Rarick and a completion to Ethan Cameron. With 7:25 in the first, Rarick ran in his first of four touchdowns.

Cole Dennis put in the extra point.

The Tiger D again forced a quick three and out and Rarick's running could not be stopped.

On the next possession, Cameron scored on a pass from Trey Pruitt to make it 21-0 with 9:39 in the second quarter.

Rarick punched in two more before the half.

The Tigers had a bit of a struggle to hold onto the ball early in the second half, but the Tiger defense scored a safety after the Falcons had a bad snap over the head of their punter.

The following kickoff by the Falcons was returned by Cameron for a touchdown and the Tigers were then up 43-0 with 5:56 in the third quarter.

After the Falcons were able to block a punt off a bad snap, they finally got on the board near the end of the third. Their 2-pt. conversion attempt failed and the Tigers held a 43-6 lead that would remain until time ran out.
