Wrestlers compete at Flowery Branch

The Dawson County High School wrestling team had one meet during the Thanksgiving holidays. The team competed at Flowery Branch High School on Nov. 20.

The Tigers took on three opponents. The team fell to Flowery Branch and Oconee County before pulling out a win against Cedar Shoals.

The Tigers held their first home, tri-match of the season today at Dawson County High School.

The Tigers competed against Mt. Pisgah and Towns County.

Results were not available as of press time.

Friday and Saturday the varsity team will travel to Towns County to wrestle in the King of the Mountain Invitational.

Matches are set to begin at 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on Saturday.
