The Dawson County High School junior varsity boys basketball team lost a close game, 34-30, against visiting Pickens County Nov. 19.

Joseph Cronin led the Tigers in scoring with seven points.

"We struggled to score all night and missed too many easy buckets," Greer said. "I was proud of our effort, just not the outcome. We just have to keep working on making shots and cut down on turnovers."
