The Dawson County High School boys' tennis team defeated visiting Woody Gap High School, 5-0, on April 10.

Dillard Blanton won at No. 1 singles. Seniors Lane Venters and Max Muldoon won at No. 1 doubles by an 8-3 score.

At No. 2 doubles, Duris Walker and Jeff Drew won by a score of 8-4.

The Tigers will be seeded No. 5 in today's Region 7-AAA tournament at West Hall High School.

Coach Ryan Coker's team will face off against Banks County in a 1 p.m. match.

The Lady Tigers will be the No. 4 seed and will compete against West Hall High School at 11:30 a.m.
