The Dawson County Tigers swim team competed against schools from across the north Georgia region at the Darlington Invitational swim meet Dec. 18 in Rome in their final meet of the year. Senior Devin Eichler led the way for the boys’ team with wins in both the 200-yard and 500-yard freestyle medleys to finish in a tie for first place overall on the day in the individual competition. Strong performances from fellow senior Will Mulberry in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle events along with a third place finish from the relay team in the 200-yard medley rounded out the scoring for the Tigers and pushed them into a third place team finish.
