Spring sports will resume at Dawson County High School this week after taking a week off for Spring Break.

The only team scheduled during the break was the baseball team, which finished with a 2-2 record during that time.

Baseball will play today with a home game against top-ranked Buford and then Friday the Tigers will travel to West Hall. Both games are scheduled to begin at 5:55 p.m.

The tennis team will host Woody Gap in a warm-up match before the Region tournament April 17-18 at West Hall.

The undefeated boys golf team will have a match with West Forsyth on Thursday at the Polo Fields in Forsyth County.

Track is scheduled for a home meet tomorrow beginning at 4 p.m.

Coach Jed Lacey and his state-ranked girls and boys soccer teams will travel to Wesleyan on Friday night. The Lady Tigers will kickoff at 5:30 p.m. followed by the boys game. The girls team is currently ranked No. 4 in Class AAA, while the boys team is No. 5. It will be Senior Night for the Tigers and Lady Tigers.

Junior varsity soccer girls will host Fannin County at 5 p.m. today, followed by a junior varsity boys' game with White County at 6:30 p.m.

The junior varsity baseball team will participate in its season ending tournament beginning on Thursday and ending Saturday.
