Seniors, freshmen win game

The annual Dawson County High School powder puff game was held Oct. 14 at Tiger Stadium.

  

The Senior/Sophomore team defeated the Junior/Freshmen team 14-6.

  

Morgan Huber opened the scoring for the Junior/Freshmen team just before halftime on a touchdown run.

  

The 2-point conversion was no good, and gave them a 6-0 lead.

  

The Senior/Sophomore team got an interception by Katie Pritchard who ran the ball down to the 10-yard line. Pritchard then took the next offensive snap and ran into the end zone.

  

The 2-point conversion was good and the Senior/Sophomore team took the lead 8-6.

  

Pritchard added another touchdown late in the fourth quarter to give the Senior/Sophomore team the 14-6 win.
