Up next for Coach Jeff Lee's varsity Tiger football team will be the Banks County Leopards, as the Tigers try and rebound from Friday's 51-6 loss to North Hall.

The Leopards are currently winless on the season under first-year head coach Biff Parsons.

Banks has suffered losses to East Jackson, 14-10, Athens Christian, 38-17, Commerce, 28-16, West Hall, 48-13, and Buford, 63-0.

Parsons has 12 seniors on this year's squad. The team is led by running back/defensive back Wes Faulkner.

Other major players for the team from Homer are Malcolm Mitchell, 5-10; 155 pound wide receiver/defensive back and Matt Dilbeck, 6-1, 210 pound fullback/linebacker.

Last year the Tigers walloped Banks by a 45-9 score.

This is a must win for Dawson County.

Kickoff for Friday's game with Banks County is set for 7:30 p.m.
