The 2020 Dawson County Lady Tigers volleyball team reminisced and celebrated the 2020 season at their annual banquet held over the weekend at the Dawson County Professional Development Center.
All four volleyball coaches gave high praise to each of their players, congratulating the team for overcoming the obstacles thrown at them throughout the season.
“There will always be 2020 moments in your life but don’t wait for something to spill out of your cup,” Head Volleyball Coach Tanya Porter said to her players during the banquet. “Be prepared for anything life can and will throw at you.”
Varsity players received their pins and their letters at the dinner, coaches also handed out individual awards for varsity and junior varsity players. These awards were voted on by every player on the team, rather than the coaches.
