The Dawson County High School girls golf team went undefeated last week in three matches.
The girls defeated a stingy Gilmer County team, 104-114, April 9, at Whitepath Golf Course in Ellijay.
Maddie Caldwell was low medalist with a 9-hole total of 45 as the Lady Tigers defeated Rabun County, 97-103 on April 10. The match was played on a difficult Kingswood Golf Course in Clayton.
Dawson County had golfers shoot rounds of 52 by Tayler Hasbrouck, 57 by Tatum Turner and a 62 by Becca Dotson.
The team finished the week with a 90-109 win over Forsyth Central on April 11 at Crystal Falls Golf Course.
Caldwell led the team again with a 42. Caldwell was followed by teammates Hasbrouck with a 48, Turner shot 60 and Dotson added a 61.
The Lady Tigers will have two matches this week before the Region 8-AA tournament begins at Scales Creek Golf Course in Homer on April 23.
The team's last regular season match of the year will be a 9 hole event today against East Jackson at Double Oaks Golf Course. Tee time is set for 4 p.m.
