Dawson County High School Varsity Girl’s Soccer Coach Rick Corwin’s Lady Tigers picked up two wins against one loss last week.

On Tuesday, the team traveled to Homer for a game against Banks County.

The Lady Tigers came out on top winning 1-0 on a goal by Sydney Crumley.

“On the whole, we lacked composure,” said Corwin. “We dumped and chased the ball most of the night.”

The Dawson County defense was stellar and allowed only three shots on goal the entire game.

“I have to find a better approach to midfield buildup and combination play in the final third of the field. We seemed to give the ball away way too much,” said Corwin.

The team traveled to Savannah last weekend for two games.

On Friday, the Lady Tigers lost a close game to Calvary Baptist, 4-2.

Saturday the team bounced back for a 3-2 win over Windsor Forest.

Highlights of the weekend games were not available as of press time.

The Lady Tigers will be back in action Wednesday against North Forsyth High School.

Kickoff will be at 5 p.m. at Dawson County High School.
