JV Tigers finish season 8-8

Playing shorthanded, with only six players, the Dawson County junior varsity boys’ basketball team finished its season with a 49-26 loss to Rabun County last Friday.

  

Junior Varsity Head Coach Wes Greer and his troops had an overall record of 8-8 for the season.

  

The Tigers trailed by only one point, 18-17, at intermission. Dawson’s downfall came in the final quarter, as the team managed to score only one point.

  

Leading Dawson in scoring was Roman Stroud with 8 points.

  

Stroud had a big first quarter, connecting on two 3-pointers.

  

Tyler King also hit two long-range 3’s for 6 total points in the game.

  

Also scoring for Dawson were: Zac Hunsucker-5 points; Neal Little-4 points; and Jake Baudin-3 points.
