JV team earns two more wins

Head Coach Nickie Rogers’ junior varsity softball team improved its record to 5-2 after picking up two wins last week.

  

On Tuesday, the team defeated a very tough East Hall team by a 4-3 score.

  

Offensively, Martie Rogers and Sam Moulder each had two hits.

Moulder also added two RBI’s in the win.

  

Thursday the team traveled to Blairsville for a game with Union County. Once again the Lady Tigers were victorious with a 5-1 decision over the Lady Panthers.

  

Natalie Burt had two hits in the contest and three RBI’s. Kenna Seitz also had a big day offensively. She contributed two hits and an RBI.

  

The Lady Tigers will travel to Banks County Thursday.

  

First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

  

On Saturday, the team will play in a tournament at North Hall High School.
