The Dawson County High School Junior Varsity Lady Tigers basketball team lost 41-28 to North Forsyth Saturday in Dawsonville.
With the loss Dawson currently stands at 3-8 for the season.
Kimberly Wallace led all Lady Tiger scorers with eight points.
Dawson was only down 21-15 at halftime, but let the game slip away in the third quarter getting outscored 11-2 by the Lady Raiders.
The Lady Tigers were trailing 32-17 entering the final period.
"We just didn't play good enough defense in the third quarter," Head Coach Jed Lacey said.
Also scoring for Dawson were: Erin Gordon-5; Morgan Huber-4; Kristina Smith-2; Lora Beth Brown-2; Haley Hamil-2; Amanda Vinson-2 and Madelyn Walters-1.
The Lady Tigers will be back in action this Friday as the team play's host to Union County.
Next week, Dawson will also be at home against Fannin County on Tuesday.
Both games will tip-off at 4 p.m.
