Despite outscoring North Hall, 19-7, in the fourth quarter, the Dawson County High School junior varsity boys basketball team was unable to come out on top against the North Hall Trojans, Jan. 10.

Coach Wes Greer's team lost by a 45-39 score.

Joseph Cronan led the Tigers in scoring with 13 points. He hit on three 3-pointers for the game.

Dawson County was deadly from beyond the 3-point line and connected on eight shots. The problem was in the paint where the Tigers hit just two shots.

"Our players made a great comeback," Greer said. "But we have to do a better job of playing the entire game, not just one quarter."

Also scoring for the Tigers were: Kolton Brumbelow - nine points, Tyler Palmer - six points, Jacob Branson, Jeff Drew and Logan Hammond scored three points each and Peyton Pruett contributed two points.

The Tigers are currently 1-9 on the season and will be back in action at 5:30 p.m. Friday against Fannin County in Blue Ridge.
