The Dawson County High School junior varsity boys' basketball team is currently 1-1 on the young season.

The Tigers, under coach Wes Greer, lost at Union County, 41-36, on Nov. 25 before defeating Rabun County, 36-32, on Dec. 2 in Dawsonville.

"We could not hold the lead in the second half. We must do a better job finishing games as we go through the season," Greer said.

The Tigers rebounded with a four point win over Rabun.

The visiting Wildcats rained down three-pointers in the fourth quarter and scored 17 points, but Greer's team was able to hang-on for the four point win.
