Next Friday the Dawson County High School basketball program is excited to welcome back any and all former basketball players or cheerleaders for its annual Alumni Night.

Head Coach Chad Pittman said that it is an opportunity to recognize the history and tradition as well as the pride in the program.

“Come and chat about what was and be recognized for the hard work, time and commitment given to the school,” he said.

Any alumni that come can attend the games free of charge. The girls and boys varsity teams will be taking on Fannin County.

Players and cheerleaders from every decade will be honored between the games.

“Last year was a great turn out and we are hoping for the same this year,” Pittman said.

There will be cake and punch to celebrate former Tigers.

The girls game will begin at 7 p.m. and the boys will follow at 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 15. at the Ford Phillips Center.

For any alumni that know they will be in attendance, the program is asking that they email their name and graduation year directly to Coach Pittman at cpittman@dawson.k12.ga.us.
