Four Dawson County High School athletes are headed to the state track championships.
On the girls side three Lady Tigers qualified for the State Meet May 1-3 in Albany.
Dawson County will send Bailey Cotter (800-meters), Katelynn Simpson (100-hurdles and 300 hurdles), and Savannah Haberkam (discus).
Cotter came in fifth place (800-meters) at the state sectionals last weekend at East Jackson High School.
Simpson finished seventh (300-meter hurdles) and eighth in the 100-meter hurdles.
Haberkam threw 105'4" in the discus for a fourth place finish.
For the boys, Dylan Forester will be the lone Dawson County representative. Forester qualified at the State Sectionals last weekend with a fourth place finish in the 3,200 meters. Forester posted a time of 10 minutes.
The boys state track championships will be held May 8-10 at Memorial Stadium in Jefferson.
