Caldwell named 'Gamechanger'

Dawson County High School junior golfer Madison Caldwell was selected Most Valuable Player for Region 7-AAA.

The list was selected by all coaches in the region.

Caldwell will lead her Lady Tiger teammates at the state class AAA tournament at Horseshoe Bend Country Club in Roswell on May 18.

The event will be hosted by Blessed Trinity High School.

Dawson County was well represented on the all-region team.

Also selected were Tatum Pruitt and Sydney Morgan.

Rounding out the eight member team were: Sydney Bates-Lumpkin County, Morgan Rylee and Emily Coker, both from Banks County and Aleah Hylton and Allie Cobb from Franklin County.
