Lady Tiger golfer Madison Caldwell led Dawson County to a win over Chestatee on March 20 at Chestatee Golf Club. Caldwell shot a 1-under par total of 35 to secure a 163-171 win.

The Lady Tigers weren't as fortunate against West Hall. The team lost a close match, 154-163.

"She (Caldwell) has played solid golf for the past three weeks, posting par or better in the last six matches," said Head Coach Wes Greer. "I almost hate to go on Spring Break the way she has been playing."

On March 26, the Lady Tigers played a match with North Forsyth and Lumpkin County. Despite Caldwell shooting a 39, Dawson County dropped both matches. The Lady Tigers lost to North Forsyth, 135-163, and to the Lady Indians, 162-163.

"The girls are continuing to improve and we should be ready when the region tournament arrives in April," Greer said.
