Three Dawson County Tigers were nominated by baseball coaches throughout Region 7-3A as All-Region team members.

Sawyer Bearden, Brandon Cramer and Nick Mullinax were all nominated as members of the All-Region second team for their performance during the 2021 season.

Bearden, a freshman, had the highest on base percentage out of the Tigers, reaching base safely 48.2% of the time. He had a .328 batting average and drove in 15 runs and scored 14 on his own.

Cramer was the Tigers’ biggest offensive weapon during the season. He led the Tigers in: batting average (.338), runs batted in (24), hits (27), doubles (8), triples (1), slugging percentage (.613) and on base plus slugging (1.073).

Mullinax was the Tigers ace on the mound this season. He allowed 2.89 runs per seven innings pitched and struck out 22 batters. He also recorded the Tigers’ only two saves of the season. At the plate, Mullinax mashed five home runs over the fence, a team high.

Additionally, six Tigers received honorable mentions for the All-Region teams, Andrew Burt, Trey Harvey, Julian Horner, Luke Mulberry, Carter Turkett and Kinkade Weaver.
