The Riverside Military Academy Eagles returned to the GHSA this season after winning a GISA championship in 2005.

Riverside Military Academy Head Coach Chris Lancaster has some talent that could cause some teams problems in Region 8-AA.

College prospect Colton King will shore up the offensive line. At 6-3 and 270 pounds he will be tough to block on offense.

Running back is also a strength for the Eagles. Riverside will run a spread offense led by receiver Adrian Quinones who had 28 catches last season.

Linebacker Diego Osegueda will lead the defense. Osegueda had 85 tackles a year ago.

Riverside is currently 6-3 overall and 5-3 in the region. They must win this game to keep their state playoff hopes alive. The Eagles are coming off a 37-20 win over Union County last week.

Prediction: Dawson County High School Head Football Coach Jeff Lee will have his team focused for this contest after last week’s close loss at East Jackson.

It will be senior night at Tiger Stadium and the Tigers will roar.

Dawson’s seniors will rise to the occasion and put the Eagles out of playoff contention.
