In the second ever eNascar iRacing Pro Invitational series race, Chase Elliott finished 29st out of 35 racers in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 125 at the virtual Texas Motor Speedway.

Through 25 laps, Elliott sat in the 24th position. But after two cautions in ten laps, Elliott chose not to pit stop with the pack following the 40th lap and climbed to first place at the 44th lap.
But Elliott only stayed in first place for less than a minute. After being passed by teammate William Byron, Elliott started falling back and by lap 60, he was back in 24th place again.

Once again, when many racers visited the pits Elliott chose to stay out on the track and climbing all the way up to the 9th position, before having to visit the pits himself after lap 91.
Elliott came back into the race in 25th place, and by lap 112, he acknowledged on Twitter that he no longer had a chance to win a race.
I think Fletch 🐕 gave up on us. We need some tires and we can get back in it. #di9 pic.twitter.com/TebM7X0mV6

Elliott finished in 29th place after finishing 24th in last week’s Dixie Vodka 150. Sunday’s winner was Timmy Hill.
The Food City 500 in Bristol was scheduled for next Sunday on April 5. There is no news yet on whether the Pro Series Invitational will host a virtual race.
