Wynell Simmons, 75, of Dawsonville, died Sept. 6, 2017. Born January 19, 1942 in Atlanta to the late Royce and Opal Sweatman, she lived most of her life in Dawson County. Wynell was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, travel and caring for her family. She was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church.
