William A. Westbrook Jr., 82, of Dawsonville, died Aug. 22, 2011.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Ann Westbrook of Dawsonville; son and daughter-in-law, R. William and Teresa Westbrook of Ojai, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Terry Turner of Roswell; grandchildren, Kelly Cavin, Kevin Turner, Anne Westbrook; six great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Leonteen and Fred Hockett of Wilmington, N.C.; his dog, Coco; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Aug. 27 in Browns Bridge Community Church with Kevin Turner officiating. Interment followed in Georgia National Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
